Palapa Marina offers stern to docking for up to 22 mega yachts with a draft of up to 20-feet. Each berth offers water and electricity (30/50/100amp – 3 phase), fuel, telephones and cable TV. Marina services include shipwright, refrigeration and air-conditioning specialists; divers, scuba shop, business center and yacht support.
Yacht provisioning, washrooms, showers and a laundry, are all located within the marina complex. Many popular restaurants nearby and the infamous Soggy Dollar Bar opens right onto the dock.
The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Palapa Marina are readily available to organize any kind of service requested – from filling gas bottles to boat repairs, hiring a scooter, limo or car.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel 60 hrs prior to the arrival date, there is no cancellation charge.
30% of one night's dockage charge for the cancellation within 60 and 48 hours of ETA.
100% of one night's dockage charge for the cancellation within 24 hours of ETA.
For No-Show on estimated arrival date without any prior notice will result in a 3 night dockage charge or 50% charge of reserve dockage, whichever is the least.

Palapa Marina is easily accessible from the Atlantic through Simpson Bay Lagoon, the marina is only minutes from the virgin islands and a great "jumping off" port for a sailing trip across the Caribbean. Sport fishers can head out for year-round deep sea fishing and you won't want to miss the nationally-acclaimed Heinecken Regatta held on Sint Maarten each spring.

Bridge opening Simpson Bay (Dutch side)
Note:
This is the main access into and out of Simpson Bay Lagoon from the Dutch side of the island. The Bridge is located in Simpson Bay and will accommodate vessels up to a maximum beam of 56 feet (17 meters) and a maximum draft of 17 feet (6 meters).
When the bridge is closed there is 8.6 feet (2.6 meters) clearance in the port channel and 8 feet (2.4 meters) clearance in the starboard channel.
Note:
Clearance may vary depending on the state of the tide. There is a 3mph speed limit for all vessels using the access channel, and within the lagoon all marinas and yacht anchorages are deemed ‘no wake zones’

Call Bridge Operator on VHF Ch 12 for permission to enter or leave Simpson Bay Lagoon.
Outbound traffic precedes inbound traffic Sandy Ground Bridge (French Side) This bridge is the main access into Simpson Bay Lagoon from the French side of the island.
Access is from Marigot Bay and the bridge will accommodate vessels with a maximum beam of 32 feet and a maximum draft of 10 feet. There is a 10-foot clearance when the bridge is closed.
